PTO Elections: Nominations due April 24

Come be a part of 2025-26 PTO Team! From board positions to committee chairs, find a role that will allow you to invest your time throughout the school year in a positive and meaningful way. Read on to learn about the available positions, nomination process, and voting protocols.

WGA PTO Executive Board members are each elected by members-at-large. All other positions (committee chairs) are appointed by the executive board.
To support the four board positions (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer), we are hoping to bring on a co-treasurer to share the accounting responsibilities next year.
Book Fair, Check-a-thon, Volunteer Coordinator, Events, and Hospitality Committee Chairs will still continue to be part of the PTO team. These Committee Chairs (or Co-Chairs) will form committees to help them throughout the year.
Other positions may be created, as the new 25-26 executive board sees fit.
Nominate yourself or someone else (due April 24 by midnight)
If you're interested in a position, please fill out the nomination form. You don't have to narrow your options to a single role, feel free to pick multiple roles that interest you. Often times it's helpful to know this information so we can put you in a role where you'll be the most successful.
Did you know you can nominate someone else for a role? If you know of a rockstar parent who would shine in a position, we want to know about it! It doesn't mean he/she will end up on the ballot - it just means we'll reach out to that person directly and see if there's a mutual interest.
Cast Your Vote (between 4/28 - 5/6)
Even if you aren't interested in a specific PTO role or position, you are still a voting member of the WGA PTO. If you want to ensure future donation dollars and volunteer hours are put to good use, please be sure to cast your vote during the voting window (4/28 through 5/6) at wgapto.org/elections!
FINAL GENERAL PTO MEETING: Tuesday, May 13 @ 4pm at WGA Tech Hub. The new 2025-26 PTO Team will officially be announced at the final meeting.
