Officer Duties
These are the primary responsibilities of the Secretary as listed in the by-laws.
Attend PTO meetings
Attend Executive Board meetings.
Record and maintain written documentation of all meetings, executive and general. As a minimum, minutes must include a list of all expenses (amount, date expended, description and check number, if applicable) since the last minutes were approved.
Present a written report of previous PTO meeting minutes.
Handle correspondence of the organization.
In addition to the duties listed above, the 24/25 Secretary has the following responsibilities:
Creates and maintain content calendar for PTO in collaboration with the PTO Board.
Designs and creates posts, reels, stories etc. across all social platforms.

Welcome back WGA Wildcats! Whether you have been here for years or are new to our WGA family we are so happy you are here. After volunteering for different events and activities last year, I am excited to take on the role of Secretary on the PTO Executive Board this year.
We have such a strong community of parents, teachers and staff who all have a vested interest in making WGA the best school for our kids. As a PTO we can’t do what we do without your help and support. I look forward to connecting with you and building more community within WGA.
About Me
Lindsey is proud to serve as the Secretary of the Weinberg Gifted Academy PTO. A dedicated mom of twin daughters in second grade, she brings strong organizational skills, creativity, and a passion for community involvement to her role. Lindsey has a background in nonprofit leadership and real estate, and she loves finding ways to support the school, build connections, and make events run smoothly. She’s always happy to lend a hand and is excited to help make this a great year for WGA students, families, and staff.
